Your goal for each month is to either educate yourself in something you're interested in (like Life Science, or Engineering), help your community, or help your family (they run a farm) who helps the community without going over 100% stress (if that happens, you're going to have to take a month off by relaxing, which affects your relationship with other people). The demo only provided a full year just to get a small window to the start of the game. I also love the hand drawn artwork! It's really captivating and beautiful.Įach "game session" (think of it like a day in Stardew Valley), you go through events of a full month, and there are 13 months in a year, according to game calendar. What got me interested is the storyline where my character has been going through a series of nightmares, so I am really curious what this turns out to be. There are tons of game events, and 50 different endings, so I think this is going to be a good title to play in-between games. Starting at the age of 10, you play your character (multiple pronouns and body type choices, and traits to choose at the start, like The Sims) to build up on various stats, decision making, and building relationships with people in your small colony (which can end up romantically, or not). Along the way, your character is born through a loving couple, and after searching for that new home, you finally crashed into a new planet. It's about a small group of people who decided to move away from earth to find a new planet to call home. If you've ever played titles like Our Life (which is a really good free to play visual novel and somewhat life sim), I Was a Teenage Exocolonist takes their game to a whole new level! ☹️) I've played, called I Was a Teenage Exocolonist. I thought I'd share a review of a demo ( which is now gone.
